I am trying to save a few dvd's onto my pc, but cannot for the life of me remember/figure out how to do this. Was trying to use Window's Media Center but it will only allow me to RIP cd's - not dvd's.

What am I missing here?

Ten points plus a cookie if anyone can tell me a method that will let me save my dvd's onto my pc!

Okay .. but, once it's burned on the hard drive how do I get it to open like a standard dvd with WinAmp or other player? I've only got a folder at the moment with audio and video files....

Try using the program DVD Shrink.

www.dvdshrink.org

its a free download, and it rips the DVD's and puts them on your hard drive.

OK you sure you have a DVD rewriter and not just CD?
Right then edit, select DVD, file copy, save. Simple as that.
You should have the software like Nero, then you dont need WMC.
Can be downloaded from the net.
