Everyone pulling together as the events of 9/11 unfolded. Everyone pulling together as the events of Katrina unfolded. Both tragic times, which is sad. Is national tragedy the only time we can ever drop the facade to help our fellow citizens who suffer? Both those days will be etched on my memory for a lifetime. I will never forget.

I would have to say 911 or Katrina-but ride more with 911. All America poured out its heart and souls to those innocent ones who died for some stupid holy ritual or whatever it was, People rich, poor, average, unwanted stood arm in arm with each other for strength and pride. The policemen and fireman risked their lives and died trying to save those they could. A lonely piest stepped off his high horse and went to the aid of many-as a "SOLDIER OF GOD" he was everywhere and suffered as much as many of the others. We stood as" one nation under god, individual, with liberty and justice" We stood as a strong force and stood and "Old Glory" and our rights remained after all the smoke and fire-she still stood proudly for our freedom and America got a rude awakening from that lesson. We stood as one, black, white, red, yellow, a strength no one could destroy-A civilian military that was ready and stood for our red, white, and blue of our country!
Our security had been wiped out and the people came forward and became as one-when the few heads of evil lifted its head in laughter, and praise-thinking we had been destroyed-lol lol they seen a angry country-a sleeping giant- a passive people come to life and stand as one! that was 911! We stand now as a group in majority and even though our security was destroyed, we still rose above all and retaliated-something the enemy did not understand. Our lives for many had been destroyed, but we stood hand in hand through this devastation and now a lesson of destruction awoke the sleeping giant and now we are more prepared for such a thing. Evil never seems to understand, you cut one head off and others would be taking their place. We all have that inborn freedom that was never awakened and so everyone got a taste of what our soldiers of present, past, and future, have already learned the hard way...You are never safe anywhere and because of our feeling secure, one has seen now what the cost can be...911 a memorie that was burned in our minds and now we know-the bravery, thoughts, help, and gathering of the people now represent- WE ARE 1 AND 1 FOR ALL!

When the Red Sox finally broke the curse and won the world series again.

(I know my answer isn't political, but you know what... for the most part, politics blows monkey chunks and does not create fine moments.)
