Could be a potassium deficiency--try eating bananas

also, it could be your body has gotten out of it's natural alignment and it could be something as simple as a posture change and getting the muscles that are in their contracted phase to let go and go back to their normal resting length... you can see a massage therapist, get a body reading, get the problem areas worked on, and get advised on some stretching exercies and changes in habits to make things better.... also... until u can drink alot more water.. it could be an issue with the fascia surrounding these muscles if it's sticking together when your muscles are trying to move.. sign of dehydration.... if you were near, I'd help ya best I could, but would have to see ya to tell ya exactly what I think it is. OH and if u smoke, there ya go... smoking ruins the circulation, and also uses up all of the vitamin c your body has stored up, and the vitamin c deficiency in itself is enough to make u get cramps like that... been there, and have woke up middle of the night screaming in pain with it, and even during the day it's happened... but i'd seek a professional massage therapist first to get their opinion on whether or not to go see a doctor

Could be magnesium defieciency. Try taking a calcium-magnesium-zinc pill 3 times a day with each meal, and eat at least 3 servings of fresh fruit daily. If that does not help, you may need to see a doctor and get your labs run with a physical.
