In my experience, the major variables affecting marital passion are a sense of wonder and newness, coupled with a strong desire to please the other. One of the reasons that a new relationship or an affair is often so exciting, is that the couple wants to bring pleasure to each another which stimulates creativity and excitement

The key forces impacting passion in marriage is Sex and Sex. The basic instinct is sex which impact passion in marriage. Had there been no sex, there would have been no marriage. Sex plays a very important and a pivitol role in marriage and its by-product --- creation of child as a result of sexual intercourse with your wife. No doubt child can be borne without marriage but the socially approved channel of sexual satisfaction is marriage. Thus I am inclined to reckon Sex as a major force which has great impact in passion and resultantly in marriage.

Too much of everything is bad - so if you have been passionate for a pretty long period without a break, i mean giving space to each other, it is bound to impact the marriage. So breathe easy and not choke your partner with too much of love .. or everything .. life has to be led with small doses of black spots too . else it wont be normal ;-)
