Hello poptheweasles,

I love my Titanium PowerBook and it has a SuperDrive that reads and writes to CDs and DVDs. The new MacBook Pros look great, and I'm sure they come with SuperDrives.

If you want cheaper though, I would recommend checking out PowerMax for reconditioned Macs. They are usually returned Macs that have been reconditioned. They are resold cheaper but has the same full warranty of a brand new Mac. You can check them out here:

Best of luck to you.

Well I don't know if everyone is just hung up on labels today or just a bit pretentious but there are a few really great less popular brands whose systems are better in comparison and sell for less than the over advertised, well knowns. Acer for example has some excellent choices and awesome customer service. Check out Newegg.com or another reseller. In most cases you couldn't beat the price even if you built your own.

Hi there...the MacBooks are more affordable than the MacBook Pro and both come with superdrives that have Dual Layer capabilities. The MacBooks doesn't come standard with this drive but can be built-to-order before purchase:
