I did like four 5-7 page essays for my english class and it took me about 7 hours straight to do everything for each research paper...I had to include reseach, pre writing, rough draft, final draft. I got an A on all of them so it works for me.

On average, probably 6-8 hours if the research is easy. If it's difficult research, it could take a 2-5 days.
Of course, I have been known to bang out 5-6 page reports in 2-3 hours but they're usually bad, with virtually no research. Just paraphrasing from an article or two. C grade.
Oh yea, I actually spend more time on short essays. I've been known to spend 6-8 hours on a 1-2 page essay before. I usualy get an A on those.

However much time I have. I can write a six page paper in a day or two if I have to, or a much better paper in a week or two. One could spend an infinite amount of time writing a six page paper if it weren't for that pesky deadline. It's the proximity of the deadline, not the length of the paper that determines how long it takes to write it.

Typically a couple hours. But I've been known to crank out a 15 pager in a day. That's what parting too hard the night before will do to ya! Lots of red bull and a thesaurus gets me through pretty quickly!

6 pages report. u must b a studies person. well it can take 15 min to 6 days . depends u are copying it or creating it .so choose the better way.

Depends on what the subject is and how much research it requires, not to mention how fast/slow you work. You'll want to do a rough draft first. I'd allow a couple of weeks for the average 6 pager.

How well do you know your topic? How much reference material do you have on hand? The actual writing only takes a few hours, but the research and organization can take weeks.

Probably a week with writes and rewrites before passing it in.
