openly admit that another woman is beautiful but straight guys will rarely admit that another man is handsome? When it comes to other people why can some separate an admiration of beauty from sexual feelings and others can't?

" women are pretty, soft, smooth, smell nice, have less hair" because they shave their bodies, wear make-up, use moisturizers and perfume.

The point of my question is not who is more attractive, men or women.

I admire straight guys who have enough security and confidence to be able to admit another man is good-looking.

I'm not saying this is true, but, I am of the personal opinion that men have trouble admitting when another man is handsome, out of a lack of confidence in their own sexuality. I'm not saying that they are afraid it will make them gay, I think they are afraid if they say another man is handsome, people will PERCEIVE them as being gay.

I don't think it has to do with separating sexual feelings, or being afraid to admit another man is attractive, I believe it is that many men actually do not find other men attractive and don't understand what we women find attractive. Let's face it, women are pretty, soft, smooth, smell nice, have less hair.... Women are also drawn to the softer things in the world - including appreciating the beauty of another woman. Men are hairy, coarse skinned, etc. Luckily, women are designed to be attracted to them anyway! But I don't blame men for not appreciating each other's looks.

Because...All women remind me of sports cars, nice curves and well designed. Naturally Beautiful. While guys look like pick up trucks...built for work and little dirty. Even the best looking truck is still a truck. I hope that analogy works for you.

It's just that each individual is different. Nobody has the same thoughts and feelings as anyone else. I hope this helps.

Because it's a patriarchal society that condemns tenderness and other emotions among males it deems as "feminine".

men are not as in touch with their feelings as women. Not to mention that women are the complete opposite of men.

I am straight... and I can admit when another man is handsome.

I am comfortable with myself and my sexuality.

I think it's a homophobic thing, even if they aren't actually homophobic! I reckon women are more open minded.
