In Mississippi she only has to be 15 without parental consent, but in Nebraska she will have to be 19, all others states the legal age without parental consent is 18. Her uncle cannot marry her unless it is a step uncle without blood relationship. So unless you live in one of the two states I mentioned you will have to wait until her 18th birthday which will be January 5 2007, just four months away unless she has parental consent and providing you are old enough yourself which is also 18 without parental consent and various ages with parental consent. See the link below for consent ages of all the states.

i got married when i was 17, and my husband was 20 at the time. we married in PA, and the state law says that anyone under the age of 18 must have parental consent to marry, in other words they have to sign documents stating it is ok for their son/daughter to marry. some states have a lower age for legal marriage, others waiver the age law if there is pregnancy involved(i believe GA has this law). either way, it is a good idea to talk it over with her parents, or perhaps have her uncle talk to the parents, maybe even get your gf emancipated from her parents--by then she would probably be 18. i think your best bet is just to wait it out..good luck in the mean time.

She is not yet an adult - you can't marry her legally.

Tell her uncle that you want to marry her but after some time when she becomes adult and you are ready for marriage.
