Look up "The Phoenix Lights." The whole state of Arizona saw it in the 80's.

More than likely they are all seeing something real but I seriously doubt that what they are looking at is extra terrestrial of any kind of otherworld intellegent creatures . I once chased down a UFO in Mesa AZ only to find it to be a flight of small aircraft flying in formation. I matched a collision course with them traveling at 90MPH just before the formation broke apart and they one by one landed at Falcon Field.

There's a phenomen known as mass hysteria where one person excitedly claims to have seen something and the enthusiasm infects everyone around that person until they're convinced they saw it too. Was it real? I don't know. Were the sightings of the Virgin Mary by young children real? It kind of depends on one's perspective and what one wants to believe, don't you think?

No. Probably is real. It's realt that most occurrences of "UFO sightings" are near major US military installations devoted to testing and development of new aircraft.

The sky is alive with sights and sounds...some are easy to comprehend and others are mysterious.
The question always is what did these people really see...was it light reflections...........shooting stars.......simple things like the light of venus reflecting back from a lake to a cloud..maybe even a super secret U.S. Aircraft.

If a large group of people saw it, my bet would be that it was real. But that doesn't mean it was from another solar system.

More than likely it was a bunch of people who didn't know what to think, and a few people who wanted it to be something that it wasn't, and it's because of those few people that you even know something happened. Make sense?
