Yes. I think it has become a sad parody of itself, and the only reasons people tune in anymore are to see the terrible singers make fools of themselves (which they no doubt do on purpose), and because with a show that rose so high people think they have an obligation to watch, even if the quality has taken a nosedive. It's only a matter of time before people jump off the AI bandwagon. I'd say about two or three more years before the horse dies.

Yes, the contestants are not as good as they were in the first few Idols. The show has lost its appeal and should be cancelled.

Yes, yes, yes, yes! I didn't agree with the season one winner or season two winner. I thoroughly enjoyed and still enjoy Fantasia's singing. Seasons four and five. . .whatever. When Taylor Hicks is singing, I often wonder if he is having a seizure attack and his voice is not that appealing to me. The runner-ups don't have enough oomph for me and it seems as if they don't realize that they are in a competition.

Hopefully, season six will have more appeal. Time will tell. In the meantime, I'm enjoying Rockstar:Supernova.

Its the same every season. Same judge reactions, same styles of singing, etc.. But, this year I heard they will be including songwriters too. Maybe they decided to shake things up?

Yes. Especially this year when one of the worst singers won.

It is slowly fading. I think that the problem is that there are not enough success stories to show for all the hype.
