Are they really going to bring his son, I'bn al Xu'ffasch in to the main DC continuity? Because, that's what I heard and I want to know if it's really true...

And, I'm sure I miss spelled some words there so, sorry if I did.

For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm talking about his son with Talia (Ra's al Ghul's daughter)... he was in Kingdom Come... and there has been talk about bringing him, into the main DC universe.

In the latest issue of Batman, Talia reveals his "son" to him. The child's name was not said during the issue so we'll have to wait until next month.

I think it is stupid. Batman has never had any romantic interest in Talia Head as far as I'm aware, so by bringing a son into the fray makes things unrealistic (as such as comics can be).
Batman is not a character who beds any woman going (Daredevil should take lessons), he is a character who's sole purpose is to rid Gotham of crime. He has had many occasions to live a normal life but his implication is clear that family of his own isn't important to him, only the mission.

Hope not---because if there is kids involved-then the character has to age along with the child---although a middle-aged Batman might be fun! And DC will start time over again in their comics in about 5 years anyways--like they always do!

I hope not.

I know that there have been lot's of play with these stories, but I prefer a good story over the need to add a wrinkle to the mythology.

I almost booed the movie screen when I saw superman had a child in the recent feature film.

Well evidently, Batman has turned evil in this story. Only someone who's turned cold and heartless would name their son I'bn al Xu'ffasch.
