Do you need to be able to dance to be on broadway? I want to be on broadway when i'm older, but i haven't taken dance classes since i was six..... what should i do? try to teach myself ......i've tried dance classes, when i was six, and they haven't really worked for me.....please don't be mean...juss help!

Any ideas on how to get my parents to actually let me get dance lessons? They've FINALLY considered giving me voice lessons........!

I think they offer it at my highschool so im gonna do that when i get into highschool next fall....thanks guys you have been a MAJOR help!

Don't people on broadway dance? That's a strong thing in broadway.

On broadway?

There are a ton of non-musicals on b'way. We in 'the biz' call them straight plays.

But really, if you want to do it --- take acting, singing and dance classes. Almost all of your favorite movie stars have and do take these classes. Think John Travolta and Richard Gere, just to name two of very many.

well get into musical theatre classes! and maybe private jazz dance classes you have to be REALLY dedicated! but yea you have to be able to dance!
