They don't report the full range, just the middle 50%. For UC Berkeley, that would be 580 - 710 for reading, 620 - 740 for math and 590-710 for writing.

For future reference, you can generally compare statistics on different schools on the College Board website at www.collegeboard.com. However, at least for Berkeley, they reported only the reading (which they called) and math SAT scores. It's somewhat ironic since it's their own test, but apparently they haven't updated their system since the new SAT came out.

For UC Berkeley, I think it is about 1350s - 1500s (for the old SAT). But as far as I know, they dont really care about the SAT. Grades from high school are way more important (I heard that it accounts for at least 50% in the application process)
