walk to the gas station .get some gas. walk back. stick it in.try to start it by turning it over for 3 seconds at a time turning the key off all the way for 5 seconds between each try.do not push the gas pedal on a fuel injected motor when starting.
you didnt put diesel in it did you?
another way to recover from running out ; is to spray carb cleaner in thru a vacuum bib by removing a vacuum hose from it. or putting it in to the intake somehow. carefull not too much.
also;running out of fuel can ruin the fuel pump it must have gas in it when it runs . or it frys it.

Dam how can so many people be so wrong.
It sounds like you burnt out the pump. It is in the gas tank and needs to be replaced. You will have to drop the tank to replace the pump
When you ran out of gas you had no gas to lube the pump so it burned out.
Have the fuel pump pressure checked and if it is low have the pump replaced.

Use a siphon pump, discovered at Wal-Mart and aspects shops. $7-$10. training are offered. really straightforward to apply - insert tubing into gasoline tank, squeeze the pump to suck up the gasoline, and launch the gasoline right into a field. Then top off with gasoline rapidly. you need to have a field of gasoline with you so that you do not might want to stress to the gasoline station with some diesel contained in the gasoline tank. do no longer stress the vehicle with diesel contained in the tank. The catalytic converter and different aspects may develop into damaged in case you stress it with too a lot diesel for an prolonged era of time. in case you drove the vehicle, then you definately might want to interchange the spark plugs, as they're going to in all probability be fouled. Take the drained gasoline to a significant different and little ones chemical waste series center for perfect disposal.
