i dont think theres a specific age where ppl mature into adulthood...everyone is different and matures at a different pace...but ive heard u become an adult already by 18yrs...lots of kids are still VERY immature at that age so i completely disagree w/ that, though on the other hand, some mature quite quickly...like me, im 17 and i find myself very mature...at least i think so...

Every one is individual, and everyone matures at different times. However, here in the Uk the adult age starts at 18

I don't think it is an age so much as when you move out from under someone elses roof and start being responsible for supporting yourself. Some people continue to rely on their parents even after they move out so it never happens.

Nowadays in the US culture, I would say about 20 for females and 28-30 for males.

different ages for different people. i have seen some 50+ that behave like teenagers.
usually, when a person is married and has their first child, they then become a responsible adult.

I work with a guy who is 43, still lives with mom, has no car, and smokes pot before playing video games...I guess it is up to the individual...
