This should be a Top Five question, at least.
1. Muskrat Love -- Captain and Tenille
2. Puppy Love -- Donny Osmond
3. Teddy Bear -- Elvis Presley
4. Rubber Duckie -- The Muppets
5. Horse With No Name -- America

I'm loving the first 3 answers, Chili Peppers, Hey Jude by Beatles and SOAD----but (don't laught) right now (because of the mood I'm in) I'm gonna say old school Does Anyone Really Know What Time It Is by Chicago! It's such a great philosophical hippy piece that almost makes me wish I was born a few decades earlier just so I could truly feel that vibe! :)

definitly not a pop song those last for 3 months then go away and are extremly mainstream.
Id say as MY opinion
November Rain ( Guns N roses)
Stairway to Heaven ( Led Zeppelin)
Both slow songs but vocal quality and the sound is so great and it is really emotional
