I am in 8th grade and i hvnt started my period. My mom, aunt, and grandma started when they were my age.. should i be worried?

dont worry, just because your elders started puberty at a young age doesn't mean you have too. that's not the way genetics works. Your probably just a late bloomer. you still have plenty of time to start your period, but consider yourself lucky since you dont have all the stresses of a period.

Don't worry. It's only a bad thing to start too young, and you are in the right range. Some girls don't start until 16, and that is still perfectly normal. Enjoy your freedom while you can! : )

If they started at the same age you are right now then you shouldn't worry. It's probably right around the corner. Don't be too excited though. Periods are gross...lol.

Everybody's body is different. I am sure you are close to starting. Periods are no fun. I couldn't wait until I started mine and now 10 years later I wonder what was I thinking!!
