I went to www.freetranslations.com to do a little test. And this was the outcome:

I chose to translate from Enlish to French the sentence "Thanks for the warning." I got the French sentence "Merci pour l'avertissement."

I then took the French sentence and chose to translate it from French to English. I did that because I wanted to see whether the English version would be what I started out with.

It was close, but sloppy:

Thanks for the warning. (original English sentence)
Thank-you for warning. (translation from French)

I think you'd probably be able to make sense of the free translation, but keep in mind that it would probably leave something to be desired.

I use freetranslation.com, but it's a really rough translation...I would try to get on a spanish-english chatroom from google and ask someone if it is really important.
