For some reason at work and usual daily life I come across several people who don't like and say it like it's something to be proud of. As I just don't understand this behavior I was wondering if this also happens to you?

Quite a few. When I told someone I was paying £600 plus aftercare charges for an operation on my sick dog, I was told I should have him put down and spend the money on a holiday or something worthwhile. If I could have got away with it I would have had him put down. I have come across this attitude quite alot from people I would not have expected it from.

I come across people daily who don't like me!!!!!

I don't understand people's reactions to animals. I've been an animal lover all my life and find peoples reactions to them very distressing especially when they are teaching their own children not to touch because the animals are dirty etc.....

I find animals very therapeutic and on the whole quite lovable.

How can anyone say "they hate animals"??

After all aren't we ANIMALS too????

Yeah I've got one like that in my work. She is exactly as you described. What is that all about. She says she wouldnt want any harm coming to an animal but she wants nothing to do with them. I find that very strange. I think it has something to do with their childhood. Having an animal teaches you a lot in your younger years about life, love and friendship. This woman is very unfriendly at times, so maybe if she owned an animal she would realise what they have to offer.

None. I gravitate towards animal lovers. The best people in the world are animal lovers.

I like animals, but that doesn't mean I'm going to stop eating them too. I know a couple who both despise animals, think they're dirty and spread disease and other stupid things. And the really mental thing is they're vegitarians!! How does that work.

TOO MANY! And a lot of them DO like to go on about it,and they like to tell horrible stories about how they dropped a dog off in the country,or drowned some kittens,or how much they love hunting or trapping. They make me sick. It,s one thing to not like animals, but just because you don't like them ,doesn't mean you have the right to abuse them. And why do so many people profess to love their own animals, but treat them poorly?

I have one friend that does not like animals. Or I should say that it is more like she is afraid of them. ALL of them. From the tiny ant to the elephant. She must have been killed in the jungle in her last life. She is just extremely paranoid of all creatures. But has a high faith in God.

Yes, I know a few people that do not like animals. Luckily, and thankfully, they are a minority. Most of the people that I know, not only like animals, but they love them and rescue and help as many as they can.

My mom is OK with pets, but she doesn't have any, and doesn't understand having pets live in your house (I didn't grow up with animals). My neighbors see me walk the dog, and act like it's something they have never seen before (OMG! It's someone walking a trained dog down the street! They don't always live in backyards?) I love my pets, and couldn't live without something fuzzy to love. Sure, I have dog and cat fur everywhere, and it's lots of trouble sometimes to take care of two active dogs, but it's worth it!
