Anyone have any major bleeding after LEEP?

I had the leep procedure done on Aug 22, I was in the hospital last night for heavy bleeding associated with it. Anyone been through this?

I have not had one but heavy bleeding sometimes does happen after the LEEP (loop electrosurgical excision procedure) is done. It warrants being observed which is why you had to spend the night. From this point on, any bleeding, you may have, should never be heavier than a period...if it is, please call your doctor immediately. Have a speedy recovery! (I'm an R.N.)
