sadly enough probably not; It is hard in today's times to get unbiased news from cable or network T.V. Too much political control on each source, and too much finger pointing to political affiliations. You have more and more right wing networks, filtering news and only presenting what attracts their demographic interests. People should read stories from many sources including newspapers and Internet independent news sources. All in all it comes down to the person making good judgement on what seems to be well presented and go from there. I don't think many of us really detach ourselves from what we believe and unfortunately we don't take objective information to heart.

Not always , some of the news media are right leaning and are biases . They used to lean more to the left in the news , but after Reagen deregulated everything , Corporations , began buying up the networks and now the news follows the Conservative line . Fox is especially Conservative lead .
The BBC is usually pretty fair . CNN isn't to bad either .

I think so. Plus you don't have to put up with all the transitions, and you can enjoy the news w/o the time limits, the happy pass offs, and all that stuff. You listed if you want, you know what the next story will be about, b/c you are told while you are watching the current report. Maybe even more informed. Especially about world news.

No. Television news is too biased. People need to read stories and make decisions for themselves instead of seeing how others react first and then adopting the reaction.
Plus, television news only goes over US news and forgets about the rest of the world.

I think that anyone who gets their info from exclusive sources is not as informed as they should be. This is true especially now days. It used to be that a news paper was true to most issues but now they are slanted too much one way or the other. There are the fox news camps that mainly see things from the right wing perspective. There are others who see things from the left. Sad, but true. Fair and balanced, what a joke. Anyway no they are not as well informed as they should be in order to make informed decisions.

Not necessarily. Major news sources do not go into sufficient detail, I think.
Bear in mind that network news sources are at least accountable if they provide falsehoods. Web sites and 'independent' news sources have no such accountability.

Absolutely not. It is filtered news, solely coming from the corporate company that pays those such "well dressed" reporters on the news. They are merely cartoon characters pupating the words of "the man". What we need is Independent Journalism back. Sadly, not many know of that.

Anyone who gets all their news from just one source is doing an injustice to themselves.
