Because Puerto Rico is not the same as Mexico. Puerto Rico is a territory of the US with commonwealth status, which means it has representatives in Congress and the Senate, they vote in all elections(except for President), and if they ever decide to, they can become the 51st State. They have status of U.S. Citizen and can travel to the Mainland without no mess. They have their own problems, with illegals from the Dominican Republic coming into the commonwealth.

This sort of ignorance is dangerous.

You need to study history and government. \\"Since" is nothing because your assumption isn't true. Are you in High school yet?

You clearly don't know that Puerto Rico is a US possession!

You are ignorant in this matter.

Ps...also the first poster called "I don't know" apparently doesn't know, either.

Since what? What a joke...you should be embarrassed.

What makes you think that PR is the same as MX? Don't you know anything about culture, geography, CITIZENSHIP? I really recommend that you check out these links...PR is a US commonwealth territory, and as such, Puerto Ricans have US citizenship!
