I know some techniques but I'm interested in hearing what other people think. Has anything like this every happenned to you? This person makes websites about people they hate ... I don't want to wind up on one of these websites.

Bummer that doesnt sound like much fun. I would apologize if you truly did offend this person and it is warranted (if their behaviour as reasonable and if they are insane then i seriously doubt it was reasonable) and second ignore it if it ends up on the net takes more energy to fight it then it does to let it be. Plus if anyone truly knows you chances are they know the skinny on what really happen.......unfortunately free speech is a given in most places and it cannot be stopped. If it does end up on a website see if you can contact the webhosting administrator and have it removed. Depending on how bad it is is you may want to consider a libel and defimation of character suit brought in civil court. Talk to a lawyer if its really bad.

dude you need to kiss some major mutha F'in a s s ..... Make sure there is a mediator in case anything happens... witnesses are needed in situations as these... good luck
