He did. I think I had heard he hadn't had a drink in 28 years, thats a long time. It doesn't take too long to get back in the drunken swing.
I can relate. I used to drink too much and I didn't have a drink in 8 years and got started again over Christmas. My wife didn't like the idea so I stopped again, I am lucky I don't need rehab.
Robin Williams is a high strung guy, so I can see why he would want to unwind with a stiff drink of two.
