Every time the doorbell rings my guinea pig goes wild. HOG wild. it was so loud that the neighbor heard it and called to check on us!

he won his auction on eBay and is waiting for his package to arrive. guinea pigs are known for their impatience.

We have had many guinea pigs over the years.... they are amazing.
ours acts the same way when a door is opened. People forget that guinea pigs are very social animals, and they love to be held, played with & even like getting bathed.
I think your piggie is telling you he/she needs more attention.

How cute! Maybe they think the door bell is a signal for food. Or they are singing to it! My pig likes music and whistle's sometimes!
Nothing like when I open the refrigerator door though, lol..

my pig does some of the same. She/He is just exited and must like people alot. Mine does the same for any type of food. especially when i open the fridge or turn on the tap water.
