Take her and her friends to Club Libby Lu (if there is one near you). There you can select make-over packages as low as 25 dollars (per child), and they'll do their hair, nails, make-up, they'll let them pick out trinkets, lip gloss etc. After their make-over they can either walk down a "cat walk" to model their new look for the other ppl in the store, give the other customers a one song concert or have a dance party. My 8 year olds b-day is coming up soon, that's what we have planned. Or, if there isn't a Club Libby Lu, let her have a sleep-over party. Rent movies, give them a make-over, order pizza, buy a few board games (there's a Bratz doll board game that's alot of fun). And in the morning take them out to breakfast.

I am not sure what she is interested in but my niece is turning 8 and she want to have a big tea party with just her girl friends. We will set up this huge table with her 3 tiered soft pink cake and we got all the party stuff from Birthday Express.com. And everyone has to dress in these big pageant dresses and they will have there sweets and tea(probably kool-aid) or what ever and then they will play dress up which this lady in our town comes to your house with this huge trunk of clothes, shoes, jewelry and tiaras and they get to pick what they want to try on and she takes 3 pic of each girl in their outfits they pick, Then they all pass presents and she opens them. There is a table with the cake and food and crystal punch bowl and cups that they will sit at and the table with the presents and balloons everywhere and everything is pink and white with little lavender bows over the white chairs, oh and all the chairs have white covers over them with the big lavender bows tied to the backs.

Suit case race! Mom u take two similar size suitcases. Put crazy clothing in each. Say, a pair of pants, funny pull over shirts, hat, neck tie, shoes...pack both suitcases with the same stuff. Get two teams together. say go and the 1st person of each team runs to a line with the suitcase and puts on all the clothes runs back repacks the suit case and gives it to the next person on her team. she does the same thing. This goes on until the final person completes the process. the quickest team wins a prize. This is sooo fun to watch and take pictures. Girls love to dress up!

convinced! enable the little women have kinda like a gown social gathering, like gown up as their trendy preteen idol. Examples- Hilary Duff, Raven Simon from "Thats so Raven" something from Disney channel. there are such various preteen idols, that there must be more desirable than sufficient to bypass round. Then possibly you may want to enable the ladies turn it in to a snooze over. this can truly be relaxing, if her birthday is close to Halloween. besides, have relaxing!

Roller skating, going to the movies, (some theatres will allow you to rent them for a couple of hours for a showing), bowling, if it's warm enough swimming.
