Excellent question. My first thought was Cuba. and that answer would be both correct and wrong. There are several Scar-faces. The one I think you talking about is the one in the movie Scarface. That guy came over from Cuba when they release the prisoner and he came to Miami. But what I found is Al Capone the Chicago gangster is also nicknamed Scarface. He was from Naples and not a Scicilian like most Mafia guys.He went from New York to Chicago to run the Rackets and bootlegging was finally put in jail for tax evasion and died of syphillis.Al Pacino's Scarface was fiction,not real.Capone was (rent The Untouchables with Kevin Costner to see Capone )
