Nastiest city? No question, LA...sadly I must live here. The architecture is so putrid that sometimes I feel like I'm trapped in an eternal strip-mall. Even the downtown isn't like a real downtown; you barely see any people on the streets, and there's no real cultural center.
The nicest would be Copenhagen-it was so beautiful. Everything was clean, the architecture was amazing, there was great food everywhere, and most people rode bikes, so you would see forests of them by the train stations. If only it were nearer the equator.

The nastiest has to be LA, with Dallas running a close second. The nicest large city I have been to, would be Nashville or Seattle.

The nastiest city was somewhere in West Virginia (I was just passing through on my way to another state). The whole place smelled like burned pig fat and everyone had a pick-up truck with a gun rack.
