Let's say there was a terrible war, and everyone else was killed, save for you and your Mother. You were confined to a small town, where there was no transportation available. Everything is dark and dusty (very depressing). It's very hot and humid outside, and there is no shelter from the sun. You're both starving, and have been wondering around for three days, looking for food and water.
Finally, you stumble upon a small convenient store, which was emptied from looting just before the war started. You dig around in the rubbish, and all you manage to find is a very small bottle of spring water and a stale candy bar. What would you do next? It's just a hypothetical question, so don't get upset. Although such a war could conceivably occur one day.

I would split it equally with my mother. I couldn't give it all to her because my mother would refuse to eat and drink if I am not eating and drinking. The same applies to me.
