How to change the tire on your car if you break down on the side of the road. First, you loosen the lugnuts on the tire. Then, you jack the car up. You don't jack the car up very first thing because you need the weight of the car on the tire to be able to loosen the lugnuts. After loosening the lugnuts, you jack the car up and then remove the tire. Place the spare tire on the car and secure it the following way. Tighten one lugnut, then tighten one on the other side of the tire, then tighten another one on the other side of the tire. Keep that pattern up until they are all tightened.

Jeeez! What is it with people who want OTHERS to do THEIR homework?! Do you honestly think anyone is going to write you an entire speech or essay and post it here? For 2 pts. or a possible 10 pts?! LOL
I'll do something better for you. I'll help you to help yourself write a speech or essay. The biggest problem people have with writing is that they have trouble *narrowing* down to a doable topic. Here are the steps to building an essay or speech:
1) Pick a topic that interests you. It doesn't matter what the topic is as long as it's something you are familiar with and gets you excited. Maybe it's death metal music, I don't know. Anyway, write that subject in the center of a piece of notebook paper.
2) Now, draw a circle around that topic. From there, brainstorm on all the different areas you can think of concerning that subject and put each of those areas into their own bubbles that branch off the original subject. Let's say your subject is People (I chose this because I'm familiar with the topic). Okay...what about People? a) Psychology, b) Relationships, c) Family, d) Friends, e) Race, f) Something else? The list could be endless, really. But try to pick areas of interest to YOU. Each of these areas is a branch off the topic: People. Draw a spoke from People and write down each area and put a circle around it.
3) Now look at your bubbles. Which of these areas MOST INTERESTS you? What are YOU an expert at? Or what gets you fired up? For me, I would pick b) Relationships. Okay, what about relationships?
4) Try to think of at least three different things you'd like to say about the area you want to discuss. Here's an example: a) Relationships are fun, b) Relationships are hard work, c) Relationships are necessary to human survival.
You see where this is going? Do it again.
5) a) How are relationships fun? Come up with no less than 2 points to demonstrate how they're fun. This will be your first paragraph. b) What constitutes hard work in a relationship? Again, no less than 2 supporting statements. c) What would happen if we isolated ourselves completely? How would this affect human survival?
What I've outlined here is what would constitute the body of your essay or speech. Just begin your speech with a broad/general statement about relationships (or whatever topic you decide on), have your 3 supporting paragraphs, each of those with no less than 2 supporting points per paragraph, and then a conclusion that restates your 3 points.
Now, sit down and get to work! It's easier than you may think when you employ this method. And once you've proved to yourself that you can do it, you'll start to get excited about it. Trust me on this! Now, go prove to yourself and your class that you're an expert on something. Knock 'em out! ; )

We learn by failure. It's called trial and error. You will never learn to do anything if you let people do it for you.
Passing grades are not the goal of school, learning is. Why don't you take a chance on yourself and try. The worst that could happen is that you learn something.
If all else fails, do a speech on inserting a diaphragm. You'll barely get the title out before your teacher puts the kaibash on that speech.
He can't fail you for not letting you give it.
terri is right. I did a paper in college about writing a paper. I talked about the ideas that I dismissed and just prattled on for a page and a half. I got an A, though.

What you have is writers block caused by stress. My suggestion is you begin writing down the first things that come to your mind. Anything even a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich is a beginning. So let us approach with this first.
If you had alot eat for the day at school and there was only a peanut butter and jelly sandwich you did not want in it would you share it with the poor kid next to you in crummy clothing next to you or would you say he is lazy and needs a bath. Be blind to him like the homeless on the streets? I am sure you can do better than that. How about with an illegal immigrant who grew up without shoes in Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, Puerto Rico, China, etc.?

What about accepting responsibility
as the subject.
The idea that if you are the type of
person who accepts responsibility,
you will generally be looking forward
to the rewards of doing what is
expected of you.
If you are the type of person who
shrugs off responsibility, you will
generally weep, wail, and gnash
your teeth as the expected deadline
draws near for your dreaded
comeuppance.
Only the intelligent individual learns
from the neglect of their responsibility.
It should be a life lesson if they
cannot slither out of their chore
at hand. The next time they must
deliver an assignment, they find
the joy of planning and completing
said assignment with gusto.

Hi
Firstly there is no point in someone else giving you a topic or writing it for you.
For your speech to be successful you must talk about something that you feel strongly about - it doesn't matter what the subject is as long as you feel passionate about it. Best wishes, keep us informed on what you choose to make your speech on.

Pleasure and pain.
Pain can bring pleasure if applied properly. Explain the world of the SEATO Masochists. Where they meet. Different types of applied techniques. You could even dress up in black leather high heels and a little whip. This will go over especially well if you attend a catholic school.

What is up with all you "please write me a paper" people
good grief, writing a paper won't kill you.
and as far as the how to topic, how about "how to get strangers to do my homework for me"?
Actually, I'm not kidding, if you work it right, sweetie, your teacher would give you an "A" for originality alone. But it would have to be well done. No slacking.
