I would hope so and surprising men do. At least a good man would appreciate a woman who has saved herself. I wish I would have saved myself till marriage although the only person I had ever slept with was him it still just wasn't right. MY daddy always told my why should they buy the cow if they can get the milk for free and then his other favorite was to tell my brother you don't take another man's sloppy seconds. I had a friend who saved herself till marriage and even though I am a woman I still admire her. She did it!!!! It was something to see her in that white wedding gown b/c we all knew she could wear that proudly!!!!!

Total abstinence is outdated and the man who expects a woman to be a virgin is often disappointed. On the other hand a woman who has been too free with her favors is no prize. She often has no self-respect.
I would think a man would be more attracted to a woman who has been very discriminating in her lovers and hasn't sold herself short.
Women need to remember that they own the playground. The men may have the bat and balls, but..... No, women should not sell themselves short.

In this day & age of rampant sex - both hetero AND homosexual - it almost seems an antiquated notion to even ASK this question.
There IS no cut & dried answer that would apply to all. Are you talking about someone very young, perhaps just getting out of high school? If so, it wouldn't be a bad idea for her to wait until "Prince Charming" sweeps her off her feet, and they "do it right". Marriage, home, family, all before she gets to her mid-20s - THAT'S not so long to wait and hang onto one's "virtue".
OR - are we talking about a woman who is 50 like me, and has been married - AND divorced - for YEARS - already???! That's just a little bit DIFFERENT! Although I am NOT "loose", and I certainly DON'T "sleep around" - I don't think any potential suitors would realistically expect that I should have been "saving myself for marriage" all these years since my divorce, either! No need at my age to pratice abstinence until necessarily MARRIAGE - just until you know it is really LOVE is sufficient!!! If I was seeing a man of my age for awhile, and kept saying "no", he'd just think I was playing "games" with him!

Men that are looking for a woman to marry would totally respect that. Only men that want it before wouldn't.

Yes, I respect her. But would never marry a woman that I know that I could not have good sex with. So, I would not spend a great deal of time with her. But, stick to your values and the right thing will happen. It really is good to wait eventhough I didnt.
