Read the directions - it says how far to put them in.

You should review the instructions that are on/in the box.

Basically it is like this: When you hold the applicator and insert it into your vagina as far as you are able, THEN push the plunger to insert the tampon, then remove the applicator (leaving the tampon inside your vagina), it is far enough. You should have NO sensation of the tampon at all. If you can feel it in some way, you need to remove it and try again.

Just remember: your vagina is basically a closed-ended passage - there is NO place for the tampon to be lost inside your body - although if you're not inserting it properly it might fall out.

You are not putting them in far enough. You shouldn't be able to feel it at all when it is placed properly. Read the instructional guide (they actually have photos) to teach you to put them in properly. As far as I'm concerned, as long as you are using the applicator, you cannot put them in too far.

I don't ever have any problems but as long as you don't insert it so far you don't see the string, you'll be fine. If you feel like you aren't putting it in far enough, chances are you might not be. Just take your time and relaxing makes it easier.....

If you can feel it its not far enough. I don't believe its possible to put it too far. The tampon can't go farther than your cervex

Are you kidding ? Honey, read the directions and if you can feel it when you walk or it hurts you've more than lilely got it in wrong. Maybe you should just use a pad, that is best anyway.....

I will tell you how far is too far. Too far is when my girl forgot to take it out before I put it in. Trues story. You should have seen the terrified look on her face. Needless to say sex was canceled and I ended up down there looking for that string. So to answer your question, nine inches is too far.

if you use tampax pearls...all you do it hold the applicator grip..and push the applicator in until your fingers touch your vag. then you push the thing that pushes the actual tampon into you.
