all about tounge piercings?

i want to get my tounge pierced but before i bring it up with my parents i want all info possible. i have braces. should i wait? or will it matter? all the info about piercing would be helpful and if u have your tounge pierced cud u im me?

Yes it matters.
With oral piercings( such as lip, tondue, tongue web,labret,) there is always the risk of dental problems.When you have braces in your mouth, this becomes an even bigger risk to your teeth and to the braces.Tooth chipping, Weaing away of the Enamel, Gum erosion, and damage to your existing braces could be possible.
Also once you get your braces off, often they put a small metal piece behind your front teeth to keep them straight, your jewlery could damage this.

I had my tounge pierced for like a week it really doesnt hurt or anything the only reason i took mine out was becuz i had gotten sick and well when you get sick you get lugies and yea it made me mad becuz all the junk would get caught on my tounge ring it was gross so i took it out....i think with braces you should wait becuz when you get your tounge pierced most ppl want to play with it like with there teeth and it would be a waste of money to have had braces if you brake your teeth with a tounge ring....

i think that u should wait cuz when u visit the dentsit to get ur braces out that tonge ring is going to give alot of problems, plus i herad that those things are pain ful my cusin told me that the take a needle put it under your tonge and just psh it trough your tonge . painful and plus u cant take of the tonge ring for at least 3 months to the the hole wont close up.

to jazzy, pushing a needle through your tongue is the definition of a tongue piercing...
