I'm an astronomer & at our observatory have a good one for you! And it is VERY easy ! practice at home first to look like a pro at ..
How would you like to make a Comet ? !!

We do this here for the kids and it's a big hit!

Here you can learn how comets are put to gether so you can sound like you really know about them when your mixing up your Comet recipe !

Do a project on how a lightbulb works. Or build a model volcano where you put baking soda into the hole. Then take vinegar with red food coloring and pour it into the hole and the eruption will appear to be red lava.

How about using a tank of water to split water into Hydrogen and Oxygen. You can demonstate you have done it by lighting the Hydrogen with a match and hearing a "pop!" as it explodes... cool!
