Just tell her the truth. If you lose her as a friend, oh well. Let her find out the truth about her husband the hard way. No matter what you tell her, she WILL believe her husband anyway. You should also tell your husband the truth. If her finds out you are lying to him, you will lose some of his trust. And you dont want to do that

Get everyone i.e you, your husband, your friend and his husband together. Relate the story as if it had happened to someone you know and that person had asked for your advice and you are not sure of what to tell her. So you are now seeking their opinion. Asked your colleague if it happened to her what she would do? You can see the reaction of the husband after listening to his wife's reply. Lastly, you can say that you will tell everything out if it happened to you. This should put a stop to the matter.

I think you should tell your friend ASAP.
If you don't tell her, he might change the story around that you were coming on to him.
Also, you shouldn't allow your friend to suffer by being with a man who is willing to commit infidelity. It is wrong in all cases and she needs to get out of a relationship with an unfaithful person.

what you need to do is tell your friend about this. friends appriciate honesty and husbands like it when they get along and tell each other the truth. it might hurt but they will appriciate the truth. it is also better if they heard it from you and instead off another friend.

Tell your friend. No way around it, someone is going to get hurt but it's better now than later.
