You are kidding aren't you sailcat, I mean really with an English avatar you are either blind looking into the atlas or you have lived for the past 30 years on some Fiji island and just been discovered. But just so you know America is a province of Canada which actually is called North America. Now how is that for a lesson in geographie.

That is because it is not in the world atlas. It is not even a country. America is a fairy tale about columbus who discovered it. Forget about it and go on with your life. However, some people think that the United States is America. But no - they are wrong. The United States is just another country and it is not America. America is like heaven and the United States is like a piece of trash.

Most people who say "America" are referring to the United States of America (nickname I suppose). The majority of that country is located in the Northern and Western Hemispheres, south of Canada and north of Mexico.

you need to look up United States of America. It is located in the Northern hemisphere, in North America, just south of Canada (except ofr Windsor, ONTario). It;s North of Mexico. East of the Pacific Ocean and West of the Atlantic Ocean. There is also Central America and South America.

I am Canadian and need the rest of the world to know:
The Americas are North and South America including Central America and the Caribbean.
America is the USA only.
Please do not refer to Canada as America unless you say North America.
