hmmm... well, yes, you dont want to completely generalise do you... but i grew up with a load of africans & ive dated a lot of african men....
they can take a while to figure out!
one thing i could say is that its a typical thing to be completely OTT with regard to the expression of affection at the onset of the relationship (in comparison to most guys in the UK that is!) - dont be remotely surprised if you hear him telling you that you are his love etc etc, showing you off to his friends if you meet them, its just a different way to the same things that guys anywhere want!!!
thinking of several of my dates/ ex boyfriends i can say these things come up regularly....
they can be a bit stroppy (which can be endearing!)
they are either completely loyal & respectful or they are complete players
they have quite traditional expectation of the womans role at home
they want a lot of your attention, time, etc - a lot of affection
they are very persistant & dont take 'no' easily
once they do accept a 'no' or your relationship ends, its quick & easily cut, they dont have big hang ups
they are very kind & generous & trusting
they love women
they are very direct & straight forward with what they want & say
they work hard & have a lot of pride
they are good with family environments, especially children
but really you have to just get to know someone individually... these are a few things that have made me smile thinking about some people i know but african culture is a huge topic & it can vary between countries vastly.
anyway, i hope you found someone nice & have fun with him... if he can cook & dance - (which he probably can if he's from Ghana) you should be able to have a good time :)

Hmmm I guess it depends on the person you are referring to.Each individual has the good and negative sides irrespective of where he/she is from and it's left for you to get to know the person and find that out for yourself.Of course there are some cultural traits that run through most Ghanaian men.I suspect you are in a relationship with a Ghanaian guy and I don't feel comfortable listing what some might be good/bad qualities since they might end up changing your perception of the guy.
Sorry for the mix up.

They are caring after you let them know who is the boss. I know because my husband treats me like a queen. He does have his off moments but he is not rude or loud. I have been married for 30 years ....31 this coming Halloween, so yes he has his good ways.
Bad qualities when I first met him ...he had always his hands holding his thing like if it was going away or something. I took me quite a while to get to stop that. Sex all the time, no,no,no, it has to be when I want it.
This all I can think of because he has always supported my children and myself. I only worked when I got tired of sitting at home. I am his Puerto Rican Queen.

well I hear they have big c**ks so I guess that could be a good quality ( as long as they know how to use the magic stick)
