Least we forget...the utter horror of 9-11 was not only the mindless carnage, murder and mayhem caused by "Muslim" madmen, the followers of "Isalm", it's also what the Far Left Wing Radical ACLU Adoring Democrats have done with this horror "after the fact".

They have politicized the worst event second only to Pearl Harbor
into one long Bash-Bush-Blame America for the ills of the world, and endorse Political Correctness by a reaching out and "Hug A Misunderstood Muslim Homocide Bomber" foreign policy!

They Democrats have sought (once the shock wore off) to carefully climb down from the Bandwagon of patriotism that surged through American right after the attacks.

Democrats have revealed themselves to be self-seeking power mad gluttons whose ONLY goal is NOT what's best for Amwerica but their sick self-serving party.

Dems now cater to Left Wing Liberals, Lesbians, Gays and and all many of secular ACLU fringe ideas that undermine the very fabric of America.

What say you?

Unfortunatly its the far left that think Bush did this on purpose just to go to war. Scary, isn't it. You have to remember though, these are the same people who agree that abortion is ok, the killing of an innocent child, but support P.E.T.A.

In other words, I agree with you 100%!

Republicans have revealed themselves to be self-seeking power mad gluttons whose ONLY goal is NOT what's best for America but their sick self-serving party: Haliburton, torture, rape and pillage - well done REPUBLICANS; Sick nepotists, flying Bin Laden's family out of the US before the bodies were cold - ignoring the warnings - Lying to the people -
Republicans - politicizing, even today, the worst event in Us History - failing to secure our borders - "Hug A lying bomber jacket on a ship in the ocean foreign policy!" .. Get rid of the talking points, they are not going to work this time round. Bye bye Republicans; Hello Democrats..congress here we come. .....

This guy is so stupid, he cannot see that he and his Part is doing exactly what he is accusing the Dems of doing. He is pointing the finger right back at himself. He is ranting and accusing the left of ranting. He is projecting in his attempt to find an excuse to justify his own exostence least of all the existence of the his failing administration. Fact not fiction: Republicans have all the houses and the white house and look at the State of the Union?
THOUSANDS of Americans dead!!!!! All during this administration. When those buildings toppled, there was no excuse by our leadership. They were in charge, therefore they screwed up - that simple! If they were not ready to take over this country then they should not have done so- but they did and people died and are still dying due to their misgivings. Why do you think they fought against a 9/11 independent commission? Imagine, the Widows had to fight for answers and the idiots were terrified of the independence of the commission. Why I ask? Bottom line, If I am ranting - I am proud to rant because I have a "RIGHT" to RANT. Or should I say, thats all I have "LEFT."

Actually, I believe that once the Dems saw what the Administration was doing with the so-called patriotism (actually, it was fear), they did not "climb off the bandwagon of patriotism" as you put it. They became patriots by defending the Constitution of the United States against the power grab of the Administration. President Bush seems to think that the Constitution applies to everyone except him and his cronies. Bush has repeatedly violated the laws of this country, overstepped the limits of power imposed upon his office by the Constitution, violated his oath office to "uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States, so help me God," and the rights of citizens of the United States as in the case of Jose Padilla. This is more of a threat to this country than anything Al-Qaeda can do.

As for the Dems being "self-seeking power mad gluttons" we all know that the Repubs are not at all interested in maintaining power and have only the best interests in mind for America. This explains the highly targeted tax cuts for the rich (which benefits me, by the way), the massive deficits (have you noticed that record deficits have happened only under Republican presidents? and under the past three in a row?) and the gutting of the Clean Air and Clean Water Acts. Obviously, these actions are in the best interests of all the people.

So say I.

I say you must be out of your DAMN mind. What kind of person would use this for political gain? Oh, I forgot, Republicans. With Pearl Harbor, our country went after THE PEOPLE WHO DID IT. Have you forgotten that bush is not trying to find bin Laden, the person who supposedly CAUSED 9/11, but decided to go after a person who wasn't responsible? Have you noticed that bush states if we don't support the war, we don't support the troops? Have you noticed that ABC make of 9/11 is making Clinton the cause of it?

The people responsible should be held accountable, not the Muslim nation. Those who are extremist should be captured and tried as stated by the Geneva Convention, not by bush's rules.

You are doing the same thing bush is doing. You are using a horrible event as politics. What does Democrats catering to Liberals, Lesbians, and Gays have to do with 9/11. As far as power mad, the person in office is trying to by-pass the Constitution with secret phone taps, by-passing warrants, ok'ing torture, and secret camps for suspected terrorist.

You need to look into your own party before tearing down another...

I haven't forgotten 9/11. I also haven't forgotten what Bush has done since then. The world changed for the worse that day, and our president has done everything in his power to exacerbate the problems that lead up to the attack and that were created by it. He turned unprecidented global support into unprecedented global distain. He turned a record budge surlus into a record budge deficit by cutting taxes while simultaneously increasing spending. He started a war we couldn't win. He lied to the country on several occassions. He failed to act to minimize the impact of Hurricane Katrina, despite having been warned of the destruction it would cause. He has consistently refused to cooperate with the international community to reduce the effects of global warming, or for any other cause. He has destroyed what was left of our public education system with his "No Child Left Behind" act. Those are just a few of the reason I don't support the Bush adminstration. Not a single one of those is counteracted by the 9/11 attacks.

Our nation was attacked on 9/11. That's exactly why we need competent political leadership. Patriotism means support for your country, not unconditional support for the policians who are destroying it.

I find it sickening how willing many right-wing Republicans are to coopt 9/11 to further their own agenda. Last I checked, being attacked by terrorists was not a logical reason to ban abortion, to ban gay marriage, to fund big business, or to start a war with a country that had nothing to do with the attack.

There is no question the attacks on 911 were horrifying-but what does the war in Iraq have to do wth 911? Saddam had NOTHING to do with 911.
Jesus, you Republicans are ignorant!
What is sickening about Bush is that he exploited the fear felt by Amercans in the wake of 911 as an excuse to invade Iraq- an invason he desired long before the 911 attacks.
Your post reveals you to be a typical Republican, a rabid homophobe and racist- You hate anyone who is not a straight Christian white man...

Because we are against torture, warrantless phone tapping, and indefinite detention without trial, we are hugging terrorists? You don't say...

Bush and the GOP aren't attempting to use the 9/11 anniversary and illegal Iraq invasion for political benefit? Where have you been?

Many Democrats did initially support the Prez and the military action, but gradually realized they were fed fabricated intelligence from the Pentagon Office of Special Plans and the neoconservative warhawks.

Dems don't cater to gays and lesbians specifically, but we do support equal rights for all under the Constitution. Those groups just make the headlines because they have been severely oppressed by the right wing idealogues running all three branches of our government these days. How does your neighbor being gay undermine the fabric of America? What happened to let freedom ring, live and let live, and tolerance of diversity?

When will the right wing admit that they voted a coke snorting, alcoholic with no morals into office, not once, but twice. If the dimwit would have been awake and not on vacation maybe 911 would have never happened. I see a pattern here where he reacts instead of proacts like Katrina. Better late then never is not a good policy when people are hanging from their roofs for their lives. It was a sad day for america when he was apointed to the presidency.

The ACLU is representative of the Democrats the same way the KKK is representative of the Conservatives.

You can't let those on the fringes speak for everyone.

No the Dems don't cater to all those people. All those people just don't agree with the Repubs less tolerant platform so they end up being Dems by default.

I am sure the Libs haven't forgot 9/11. Their lifestyle (the liberal's) receives even less respect from Radical Islamists than that of US conservatives if you think about it. I don't think that they have forgotten.
