Went to AOL gold and got a shiny netgear router 'happy days' or so I thought, Had it 2 days and have been disconnected over 8 times or more. When it was back online I went out and bought a wireless usb lan adaptor for my wifes computer (£25 it cost me cannot get a refund on it as they proved it was working and I seen it with my own eyes) and over the last 2 days with advice done it this way and that way with the ssid's and password's and wep's wpa's and the rest to no avail, then when starting AOL gold on my computer again it won't find the modem and all the little pretty green lights that should be on are on but no avail, so back to the trusty old BT105 and online fine

is the ethrenet cable on the BT105 the same as the ethernet cable for the netgear in other words can I use my cable from the BT105 for the netgear in the second port or can you get a spkit ethernet caple so 2 connections out of the one port

Thanks for listing and any advice would be very helpful

My advice? Dont use AOL. Find yourself another ISP.

Gotta go with the other guy. AOL is a horrable ISP. They install programs that run in the background of you PC even when AOL isn't running.

I just got comcast cable on my pc today. When I uninstalled AOL, it still left four other programs I had to individually uninstall.
