try breaking a vitamin e capsule and putting the liquid on ur lips. also, u can get vitamin e lip balm. and don't lick ur lips, that will make it worse! and u can exfoliate ur lips w/a wet clean toothbrush, then put on lip balm.

Firstly, wet a toothbrush with soft bristles and brush on yr lips gently. Thereafter, apply lip balm (i recommend Vaseline's Advanced Therapy).

Before you sleep, apply the lip balm too, espcially if you are sleeping in an air-conditoned room. Drink lotsa water during the day, as chapped lips could be due to dehydration or even smoking! It could also mean that your immune system is very heaty, try taking some cooling food/tea, like crysanthemum tea.

If you have tried chapstick and lots of other products,it's probaly that you are dehydrated or been in the sun to long and also can be caused by being in exposed to to much wind which carries lots of bacteria,I would say the best thing to do is drink a lot more water and try keep out of some of these other weather patters that can occur untill fully healed.

Smear vasaline on your lips before bed and repeat every night until chapped lips are gone. Make sure you take some to school/work to reapply every hour or so.

Chapstick, blistex, etc.... WILL NOT WORK they all contain ingredients that make your lips remain chapped. The only think that will work is a thin layer of vasoline regularly, esp at night because you won't lick it off.

I've tried everything - until one day I saw my sister's best friend do the weirdest thing. She brushed her lips with her toothbrush. I asked her WTF she was doing and she told me that that got rid of her chapped lips. And guess what? It worked for me. I don't use chap stick anymore - unless I want my lips to shine.
Hope this works for you - just don't brush your lips till they're sore.

Hydration. Drink lots of water. If you continually get chapped lips you are probably dehydrated.

The best lipbalm ever is prescriptives lip specialist. I searched for years for the perfect one. Plus, lots of water and cut down on salt. My lips get dry when I eat salty foods.

DId you try Carmex? It comes in a little white glass pot with a yellow lid. The drugstores carry it. It should be near the chapstick. This stuff works better than the "sticks."

Get the chapstick brand medicated chapstick. It works really well, even on cracked/ extremely dry lips.
