They are foul, repugnant creatures. They look like pig-rats with pubic hair sprinkled intermittently all over their nasty little bodies. Creepy, horrid little beasties.
Nutrias are even worse, they look like GIANT rats

Possums Are. Bats eat lots of insects and do a great service for the world. Possums just hiss and eat trash and pets.

Possum eyes glow; they look like giant rats; they hiss at you, and show their needle-like teeth.
They are pretty evil looking; even more so than bats.

Bats are kinda cute up close in my opinion. They've got cute little round ears and their faces look like tiny dogs. Opossums are revolting from afar and even more hideous up close. Ever seen a nutria? They look exactly like the R.O.U.S.'s from The Princess Bride.
Man, I hate opossums! Good question.
