i have a philips go gear, its easy to load things and take things off of it. Its half a gig so you have to suffle things off and on constantly, i've gotten 170 songs on it at once. If your looking more towards some huge device to hold all of your music, then die after 3 hours of play time, sure get an iPod, have fun working it. My go gear thing has gone through the wash twice and the dryer once, and it still plays.

iPods are really nice and easy to use but it's not an mp3 player, it's an mp4 player.
