Playstation 3 seems expensive, but really it is cheap. You have to think of the hardware that is installed. If you would purchase a Blu-Ray dvd player it will cost you over $1000 dollars at the moment, but the PS3 has one for only $600 dollars. So you are winning right there in one scenario. Plus you get a full 1080i HD quality and the Xbox only supports 780i. The PS3 has a built in 60GB hard drive and a built in Wireless internet adaptor. The Xboxs' wireless network card costs $100 dollars. So if you just spent $400 on your Xbox360 you just now spent $500 dollars. Then you still dont even compare the the PS3, you have to spent another $100 dollars and up to buy the NOT built in High Def DVD player. So you just now spent $600 dollars to make the Xbox 360 even to the PS3....when now the PS3 still wins the competition because the internal power and graphic capabilities of the hardware is better than the Xbox360. So really you need to decide which system has better games than the other. I think Sony also realizes this, thats why they are not to consernd with people not likeing their product at the moment, But when the time comes people will also notice this and start leaning towards the PS3.

I am a hardcore PlayStation fan so my opinion will have to be in favor of the PS3, but i know a good system when i see one. The PS3 is not even out yet but i have seen a lot of press on the PS3 and i have also looked over the details about the system and the game line-up and i must say that i think Sony has done it again by making a top of the line home game/entertainment system for sure. The raw power of the PS3 is 1000 times as powerful as the PS2, and the game line-up and options that come on the PS3 are out-standing. The ps3 has music and video options as well as on-line web surfing and on-line game-play, plus the blue-ray drive puts it way over the top. With games like The darkness, grand theft auto, metal gear solid, resident evil, and assassins creed puts PS3 on top of the mountain once again. The only two area that the 360 is better is in its on-line game-play and in its price, other then that its PS3 hands down.

PS3, I know it's cost too much money but it also a powerful system, I have Gamepro and Playstation Magazines and they say that Xbox 360 is good and it's very low price but PS3 is like almost 2 times more powerful than the Xbox 360, just save the money, search for images, videos, or news to know more information about the PS3.

PS3 is better. It will have better hardware, and better versions of the cross platform titles. It will have more exclusive titles, and the exclusive titles will be more engaging than the XBOX 360 exclusives. The online gaming service for PS3 will be free, the XBOX 360 service is pay per month.
The PS3 will have access to the PS2 and PS1 library of titles. The XBOX 360 only has access to the XBOX titles. The PS2 and PS1 library of games is by far more numerous and entertaining than the original XBOX library.
Finally, the PS3 will have a motion sensing controller, whereas the XBOX 360 does not.

xbox360 because as soon as the ps3 comes out the price will drop
and its already got some kick @$S games and rumors say it the ps3 might only play new games so you can't get games from your friends and rent them or buy used games so xbox 360 would be a Good choice a very good choice

I'm getting an Xbox 360. PS3 is too expensive. I will get a PS3 when the price drops to a more reasonable amount.

stop asking this question. anyone who knows and cares about videogames knows PS3 will be so much better than xbox 360. go to ign.com and look under xbox 360 reviews. the system has been out for almost a year and has maybe a handful of good games. maybe 5 or less that scored 9.0 or higher (out of 10). sorry to seem so angry, but everyone thinks xbox 360 is soooo great.

I have to admit xbox was better than ps2 but for 360 versus ps3. Ps3 all the way. Has more memory, awsome graphics, better online capibilities and tons more

I Couldn't decide. So I spent $400 on a Samsung high def 22 inch widescreen monitor for my PC & got out all those games I never finished - going through Doom3 , right now.
