My Microphone works with imovie HD and its built in as well my isight camera works as well i can take pics but for some reason it doesn't want to respond with my imovie HD it keeps saying "no camera attached" That sucks if u know how i can fix this plz tell me THanx Bye :)

make sure that you don't have any other applications open that might use your iSight. For example, if Photo Booth is open, it will give you that message "no camera attached". If any other applications are open that use the isight, you will have to close them, and you may have to close and reopen iMovie. Once you open iMovie, at the bottom, near the play button, you should see a slider with scissors on one side and a video camera on the other. You should be able to click on the video camera and choose built in iSight. If this isn't the problem, I'm very sorry I couldn't be more help.

"iMac G5" ability PowerPC, era. An all-in-one iMac does no longer mean it is an iMac G5. the two it is an iMac G5 or it is an Intel iMac. The iSight iMac G5 and white Intel iMacs are indistinguishable at a glance. you may would desire to hop into the OS and verify or look on the label on the backside of the foot.

It's probably just for high end HD video camcorders with firewire. But it should support it. And the G5 isn't the newest... core 2 duo is :)
