Free Bird has some awesome guitar work in it. It's not heavy, but still cool southern rock.
I agree with a couple of the others, Cemetary Gates by Pantera is also great.

I love the rage against the machine's intro to calm like a bomb, but i think a primus song would have the most "bangin" solos for bass. I'm torn on the song tho.
