Hi there...have been primarily a Mac user since 1985! I owned primarily the Powerbook models ( 68k- 145c, PowerPC 520c, G3 Wallstreet, Titanium 500MHz, 800MHz, Aluminium 1.67GHz DL) to the latest 2.16Ghz MacBook. It's my business and even though Windows owns a large market share Mac users now can participate (if need be) compliments of Apple's Boot Camp. So we have the best of both worlds!

Whoever designed the Mac doesn't think the way I do. I know lots of people find it fits their intuitive feel for how to do things, but it's the opposite for me. And I hate being prevented from getting past the user interface when it doesn't do what I need it to.

windows has way more applications. bottom line. i'm not saying windows is better than mac, it's not. that's just my reason for running windows
Hell, if you want to go back to the early days of personal computers, why aren't we all running Amigas?the amiga was clearly the superior machine in the mid to late 80's and early 90's. Apple and Microsoft are just now catching up to what the Amiga 3000 was.

i would love to have a mac / linux. but here in India, software compatibilty of lesser-known OSs is nil. Half the people would know what linux is, but wouldn't have a clue to its software, or anything else.
so it would be hightly difficult and impractical to use it, atleast while i'm here.

Cause I'm a poor, cheap disabled vet who had to buy what he could afford, and so, since I've been doing pcs for 23 years, that's what I stuck with..

Linux on the much less expensive PC hardware is the sweet spot for me.
Mac is too expensive for what you get.
