Middle school is still a bit young, but how do you really feel? If you want to get to know the taller fellow, and you do, will it hurt your friends feelings or will he understand? Are you already bf/gf with the guy you've known since PK or just friends?
There's two ways to look at it:
First, the guy you've known forever is certain to be the fellow you know him to be...and the other guy could be a jerk.
Second, the guy you want to talk with could be even nicer, cuter, etc.
You've got a LONG time to decide on someone you want to be with, but that doesn't mean you can't settle in early if you happen to fall in love! You could date the newer guy, and if it doesn't work out, your friend will probably still have feelings for you...and the other way around.
I guess I didn't really help a whole lot, but that is some things to think about coming from the outside. Good luck.

If I were you, I would choose the PK guy, since you've practically known him all your life so there is either little or no adjustments needed, right?
But, if you still want the PE guy, then:
1) Research on his background. I mean, know if you have common friends or anything.
2) Sit closer to him always.
3) Have a third party set-up a date for you two. (If you're shy)
4) If you have the guts, then talk to him first. Observe if your commonalities and talk about it.
5) Do some physical touch (i.e., massaging him after PE). Well, males like females who do some physical touch to them, according to studies.
6) He'll like you then. If not, persevere!
7) Ask him out!

You should talk to the guy in your p.e. class and see if he likes u or you can have a close friend ask him if he likes you. The guy you now from pk school is he a friend or do you feel like you two should be more than friends. It all depends on how you feel for each of them.

In middle school, keep your options open. You are at a point in your life where you need to focus on school, and have fun too! If you are trying to decide who to go to the dance with, go single and make sure each one saves a dance for you. Or go with the person you are sure you will have a good time with. As for Mr. P.E. Class, talk to him. Listen to what he's talking about or see what book he might be carrying to try to start a conversation like, "How do you like your English teacher?" if he's holding an English text book. Always approach with a friendly manner and you'll be alright! Good luck and have fun at the dance!

Well...you should find out what you have in common and just try to be friends with both. Start on the friendship, and build off that. Those relationships last longer
Hope this helps

I think that you should just ask him. even though some people might say that you never ask a guy out. if they really liked you they would ask you. well that sometimes doesnt work. i got my boyfriend by asking him to the valentines day dance and all of my friends thought that i was on crack or something.....lol. so he said yes, found out what i was like, then he asked me out. i had liked him since 5th grade.

Dating a best friend is friendship suicide. date people other than him and then as adults, if he's still around, see where it goes. I've lost many a guy friend over a change of relationship. they can't handle it like we can.
