finding a women who is not a nag and constantly asking him stupid questions like a 8 year old.. if he can accomplish that and not get divorce ( unlikely ), he wins at the game of life.
there are far too many value tat a man may encompass to make up his identity
no 2 guys will be the same
there may be similiarities
but some are more family prone guys
and some just like to be married with no kids
still other are the bread winners and workaholic with a past ot prove to themselves and or fathers
much will be determined by upbringing and how they drive themselves through life and with what sense of passion
most men will see another man by his accomplishments
and not marriage or children
but what knowledge he has gained, what skillcrafts he knows, what hobbies he has etc..
most men will tak about sons over daughters if only to see how the next generation is coming up, in terms of athletics, learned knowledge etc...
this is why most men prefer boys to girl
for many children are a price of admission to be married to keep the women in his life happy. most men can do very well without children ( even though they may like them ) and focus on carrer, hobbies and camradre of other men. they can even mentor.

The qualities that make a man are what define him i believe. I am a good provider with an eye to the future and the futures of a wife and 3 kids. I am proud of what I do and how well i do it. I am loved and love my family and friends and thought of as a decent compassionate man who people think well of for the most part. Thats about the best i can come up with. Thanks for the question...makes me think about what im doing right for a change rather than dwelling on what i do wrong or what goes wrong.

Wow, that's kind of a hard question to answer, at least for me anyway. I suppose what defines who I am is how I am perceived by those around me. I try to live my life according to my life verse, which is Mathew 7:12. Basically, that means that I treat others as I wish to be treated. It works for me. Others opinions of me has always been how I regard myself. I hope that's what you are looking for! Good luck and God Bless!

thanx 4 the points...
I think men like feeling in control of their issues and luv stabilty especially finiacally. A lot of men think that their accomplishments and hard work makes up their idenity. A man's job is an "extension" of who he is.

The average man finds "identity" in his job -- whether it's the amount of money he earns, his level of skill-craftmanship, his power-authority, etc..
A smaller group of men find their identity in their sexual conquests, their ability to party-drink, or their acquisition of possessions.
I hope that my own identity comes primarily from what GOD thinks of me, or another way of putting it, "who I am in Christ." After all, job perfomance, personal achievements, and possessions are relatively short-lived.
