Well, as the future husband of a hairdresser, I recommend Redken or Matrix for Men Shampoos and Conditioners. My hair is down to the middle of my shoulder blades, so I need the shiny and soft part, too. Making your hair fine is a matter of genetics, but you can't go wrong with a flatiron to straighten it. For a product for hold, use Redken Pomade, or Bed Head. Just tousle your hair with about a pea sized blob in your palm, and you'll have plenty of messy without having to fix it 24/7. Hope this helps.

soft is always good. you could go straight with it, or do the messy look, which can be pretty hot.

use a good shampoo and conditioner (NOT a 2 in 1) then put some gel in your hair and scrunch it up some (casues curls and waves) make sure you get the gel through it really well, then it wont feel greasy or hard. then dry it and shape it so that its face framing and stylish.

without seeing your face shape and structure, i can help much more then that.

but guys can get away with messy. that 'i just rolled out of bed' look is hot. so you could use gel and dry real fast and rush out the door, or if you want to look nice, you could comb it straight (or even use a straigtening iron, if youre not afraid of metrosexualality) and curl the ends under, it would look good.

bed head makes lots of good products, im sure you could find what youre looking for there. they sell them at wal-mart and most pharmacies

Gatsby wax!

Super strong, available in matt or shine.

Try it, there are various types, for different hair lengths and different styling. My favourite is the Gatsby Matt type.

If you have a really round face, and you do not wish to use wax to give your hair some volume, maybe you should have shorter hair.

Keep the fringe, cut the sides and top.

If you still want to keep long hair, consider dreadlocks. That is if your face is oval shaped too.

Depends on your hair colour too. For hair along the colours of platinum, silver, go for a shiny look to make your hair look more defined. For brown, red, copper, gold, blond, go for volume and shiny look, use wax with stronger styling power and shine. For purple, blue, go for matt look.

For black hair, either shiny or matt is fine but long hair should have more volume, so higher styling power wax is recommended.

If you have green hair that is a mistake. Go shave and repent.

what does it look like now?
Eyebrows and ears is not that long I think the bald guys are jealous. mine goes to eyebrows in front ears on the side and collar in the back and that is the standard for a guy in a suit so your not over long length, but you need to give a few clues as to what it looks like and what you are after as far as a look or the responses are not going to be accurate

Oh, my sons had hair like that when the were kids in the 60s. Go to a stylist and ask him/her what will work for you. You can go to a cheap place like the Hair Cuttery or whatever you have in your town. You'll need some products like gel.

as long as the long hair match with your fashion style, it's ok.
