Does it matter?

I keep asking questions about how to make friends in highschool because i am a shy person and all. and many people answer me by saying that it doesnt matter if your a loner or you dont have any friends in highschool because it will only be the past and not main part of your life. Does it really matter? i mean its 4 years how will i go on? i havent made many friends at the moment and im scared there going to ditch me because they're all pretty popular aready... well should i just wait for 4 miserable years go by or what.. i tried my best aready... but does it really matter? and will i wast like 4 pricous years of my teen life on being a loner?

My best answer to this question is yes. Friends are there to help you, support you, cheer you up, help when you're down, and be there for a good laugh. You also feel special and wanted when you make a friend. Those four years of high school will go by very very slowly if you don't have anyone to spend them with. Just make some friends with girls just like you, and while you're friends with them, reach out and be nice (as well as) help other girls and guys. Just be nice to everyone and sooner or later you'll fit in just like everyone else. I hope you enjoy high school! You only get one opportunity in high school so make it the best! :)

hi i am a shy girl too and i am in college for 2 years now in the beginning i thought like u but soon i knew a lot of friends and now i have a lot of friends.
in fact having no friends does really matter. cause friends in this period of time r really important and lasts for life time. so i advise u to look for true friends that u have things in common with like interests or believes. wish u luck and remember look for the common things and don't stay alone.
